Citizens shared concerns over PlaniTulsa at a recent Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission Meeting. Although 15 people spoke at the meeting, only one person asked the commission to reject the proposed plan update. Not everyone was completely happy with the plan though. There are different aspects of the plan that citizens dislike. According to the Tulsa World, one woman expressed concern over the "plan's emphasis on pedestrian-friendly mixed use development". Other citizens are waiting to see if plans for their area will actually come to pass since previous plans never did.
For those interested in PlaniTulsa there will be a public hearing at 1:30pm on March 10, 2010 at City Hall.
